It happens to people who are legally married, separated, living with or involved in a relationship with a partner. Violence can happen to people of any age; they may be doctors, homemakers, students, factory workers, lawyers, anyone. . . . . . . .

Violence is a crime! Violence, or abuse, can be physical, sexual, emotional, and/or financial. It can include slaps, punches, strangulation, beating with weapons, forced sexual acts, and systematic destruction of a person’s self worth. Abuse also includes harassment and threats.
What can I do? If you are experiencing violence in your life, CADA advocates are available 24 hours a day. All services are confidential. Your safety is our top priority.
